At Holy Cross you will find traditional worship with communion at 9:30 every Sunday morning. The service lasts about an hour. Pastor Julie refers to our worship as “High Church casual.” While liturgy is important to us, you will find a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere when you join us.
In church, we first experience God’s grace with a word of forgiveness.
The service begins with a hymn, accompanied by organ, piano, or other instrumentalists. Our liturgy, which is printed in the bulletin, is also sung, in part, by the congregation.
God’s grace is experienced again when the Bible is read and the sermon preached.
Holy Communion is another way to receive God’s grace. We accept all baptized people at the Lord’s table.
After the service, we gather for coffee and other refreshments before the Education time which is at 10:45. Christian Education is offered for adults and children.
Children are welcome to join us in worship. Pastor loves to “tell the story” with a children’s sermon. We also offer childcare during the service for children under 5.
