There are many opportunities to serve your community both in and out of church. Some of the available opportunities are listed below.

Habitat for Humanity: Over the past several years we have joined with other local Lutheran churches to raise funds for and build homes for families that otherwise could not afford to purchase their own home. some members have helped to build and some have provided food for the workers. No expertise is required... just a willingness to help.

Music: The Adult Sanctuary Choir sings every Sunday during the school year. Practice is on Thursday at 7:00 PM. Various vocal and instrumental ensembles contribute music to services throughout the year including a guitar group, a brass group, and a bell choir.

Adopt-A-Family: Christmas is such a special time of the year for Christians and here at Holy Cross we have an opportunity to share our many blessings with families who are less fortuante than ourselves. The first Sunday of Advent there will be a display in the Fellowship Hall with the names of people and information regarding the family members who need our support. If you are interested, please sign up and take an informational letter from the display.

St. Martin's Hospitality Center: Members donate their time and needed items for the homeless.
