About Holy Cross Lutheran Church
Our Welcome Message
All are welcome in this church! The Good News of God’s grace is for all, regardless of age, abilities, physical and mental health, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, education, income, or strength of faith. There is nothing we do, have done, or will do that can separate us from the love of God. God makes no exceptions, nor do we. Come join us in praise, prayer, and the work of our Lord, including ongoing work for equity in our Church and in the world.
Our Mission Statement
Through faith and trust in God, the Holy Cross Lutheran community invites, celebrates, nurtures and equips all people to love and serve the world.
Our Vision Statement
Holy Cross Lutheran envisions a lively, inclusive community, led by the Holy Spirit, that invites, learns, grows, and serves.
We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, or “ELCA”
ELCA congregations are centers for evangelical mission, where people of faith celebrate, learn and connect with one another and others around the world through service and weekly worship.
We are a church that belongs to Christ. There is a place for you among our nearly 4 million members throughout approximately 10,000 congregations across the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. For us as the ELCA, this faith comes through the good news of Jesus Christ and gives us the freedom and the courage to wonder, discover and boldly participate in what God is up to in the world.

We are a congregation of the Rocky Mountain Synod, ELCA
The Rocky Mountain Synod is one of 65 geographic synods in the ELCA; we are 163 congregations in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and the El Paso area of Texas. Our shared mission statement as the Rocky Mountain Synod is “Together we proclaim and embody God’s unconditional love for the sake of the world.”
