Lutheran Family Services Offers Refugee and Asylum Programs

Refugees are people who are afraid to go home.  They have fled their country of origin because of a well-founded fear of persecution due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or social group.  Many have endured great suffering including loss of homes and loved ones.  The U.S. government partners with LFS to welcome people who have been granted refugee status.
Holy Cross assists them by collecting household goods.  Each month there is a new focus.
March:  Pots and pans, dishes, silverware and other kitchen items.
April:  Sheets, blankets, towels and other linens.
Donations can be left at the church.  If the offices are closed, please leave the items by the front door.
