Annual Bishop’s Legislative Luncheon
The Annual Bishop’s Legislative Luncheon will be held Wednesday, February 6, at 12:30 p.m. at the LaFonda Hotel in Santa Fe. Bishop Jim Gonia, of the Rocky Mountain Synod, and Ms. Ruth Hoffman of the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-New Mexico will host the event. Legislators will be available, as possible, to meet with us during the luncheon and to answer questions. Afterwards, there will be a chance to visit The Roundhouse to meet legislators and to become familiar with the capitol.
We wish to thank Ruth Hoffman for her interesting presentation at Holy Cross on the work of the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry with the governor and the legislature toward justice for the most vulnerable of the state’s residents.
